5th graders examined the process of printmaking and Gyotaku or fish printing. Students looked up different fish species and chose one to draw, making sure to include extreme detail and texture. Students transferred their drawings to printing foam and used their knowledge of composition to print and arrange their fish in a visually interesting way.
